CHECK 01Bracket and Elimination Formats
A bracket usually moves winners through fixed matchups, with one or more losses determining elimination. Review if the app event is single elimination, double elimination, or uses a consolation path.
Keep a copy of the match time and next-stage instruction. A win might still require a separate review-in before the following matchup.

CHECK 02Groups and Stage-Robin Play
In a group structure, each entry might face several opponents before standings decide advancement. One early outcome usually matters less than the full set.
Read how group points, head-to-head results, point total difference, or another tie-break separate equal records.
- Track wins and group points.
- Read equal-record tie-breaks.
- Review how many entries advance.
- Count needed group stages.
CHECK 03Qualifiers and Points Tables
A qualifier might ask entries to reach a threshold or finish inside a position band during a set window. A points table might combine results from several stages.
Review if the best stages, all stages, or only completed stages count. Missing one attempt can have a very separate effect in each system.
- Look over the active window.
- Read which stages count.
- Write down caps and multipliers.
- Identify the qualifying threshold.
CHECK 04Hybrid and Confirmed Stages
Some IM777 events use one structure to qualify and another for the confirmed stage. The point system or schedule can reset when the structure changes.
Don't carry assumptions from the qualifier into the confirmed. Head to the new instruction panel, verify entry, and keep a copy of the updated bracket or points table.
