CHECK 01Take a moment to take a moment to review the Profile in One Sitting
Head to the IM777 profile menu and match the displayed name, contact information, region, and recovery method with latest information. Correct obvious mistakes through the approved edit route.
Some verified information cannot be changed instantly. Don't enter a replacement that belongs to another person just to get past a form; ask help which evidence is needed.
- Verify the recovery method.
- Review region and language.
- Use the formal correction route.
- Review contact information.
CHECK 02Separate Password and Recovery Changes
Change the password from a trusted mobile device and save it in a password manager. Then verify that the linked email or phone still belongs to you and can receive a code.
Completing both changes at once can trigger extra security reviews. Keep each confirmation until the new information is shown in the profile.
- Protect the linked email.
- Save change confirmations.
- Review active sessions afterward.
- Use a unique password.
CHECK 03Make Notifications Useful
Turn on security and profile-state notices even if you prefer fewer promotional messages. Those categories serve separate purposes and should not be treated as one switch.
Review both the IM777 preference and the phone permission. A notice enabled in the app might still be blocked by the operating system.
- Select offer messages separately.
- Review phone notification permission.
- Review email filtering.
- Keep security alerts enabled.
CHECK 04Keep a Small Profile Record
Save important reference numbers, verification dates, and help threads in a secure place. Don't store passwords or one-time codes in that note.
When something changes unexpectedly, the record shows what the profile looked like beforehand. It also helps help follow a clear sequence rather than starting from a vague description.
- Write down the date of major changes.
- Store no secret credentials.
- Delete outdated document copies safely.
- Keep ticket numbers.
